Man Shot at Hanna Park Last Week in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A person was shot in the thigh at Hanna Park in Fort Wayne last Friday.

The Journal Gazette reports that a man told Fort Wayne Police he believes the gunshot came from a passing car or from someone on foot.

After the man was shot, he ran into his friend's home on the 1200 block of East Lewis Street. He was later treated at the hospital.

During an investigation, officers discovered two shell casings under a pavilion in the park. No word from police on any suspects.
