Man wanted in Columbia City manhunt captured

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WOWO): The manhunt is over.

Skyler Roff, the 31-year-old man who led police in Columbia City on a chase when they tried serving three warrants on him, has been arrested. Columbia City Mayor Ryan Daniel made the announcement Thursday afternoon.

Roff was wanted for failing to appear for sentencing on charges of criminal mischief, driving while suspended, and possession of paraphernalia.

After evading capture Wednesday afternoon multiple police agencies issued a lock-down for homes and businesses near the Columbia City Walmart, as he was considered armed and dangerous at the time.
