Marion County Clerk’s Office Wed 186 Gay Couples

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The Marion County Clerk's office says 186 same-sex couples were wed at its downtown Indianapolis office yesterday after a federal judge overturned Indiana's gay marriage ban. The clerk's office says it issued more than 200 marriage licenses to gay couples yesterday. The office remained open more than six hours past its normal closing time.
