ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Marion County owes Allen County $25,588.13 for the trial of former Indianapolis Metro Police Officer David Bisard, that according to the Change of Venue Claim.

The majority of expenses went towards mileage, meals, lodging and per diems for the jurors.

Bisard was sentenced to 16 years in jail, with three years suspended back in November 2013, after an Allen County jury found him guilty of nine felonies.

His patrol car crashed into two motorcycles stopped at an Indianapolis traffic light in 2010, killing one person and seriously injuring two others.

The trial was moved to Allen Superior Court after pre-trial media attention.
