Metaldyne Announces $8.2 Million Investment

WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Metaldyne M&A Bluffton, LLC has received an $420,000, ten-year abatement from the Bluffton City Council. It will go towards an expansion that will add 13 new jobs and more than $8.2 million in new equipment to their Bluffton facility. 


The average wage for the new employees will be over $17.00 per hour.  These 13 new jobs will add to the already 292 employees currently working at Metaldyne in Bluffton, a manufacturer of transmission components for the automotive industry.


Metaldyne’s growth in Bluffton is a direct result of the innovation and expertise of the leadership as well as the entire facility team,” Ted Ellis, Mayor of Bluffton stated, “assuring companies like Metaldyne have available the best-trained workforce and an environment supporting their growth is a priority of our community!”
