Meth Bust in Waterloo Leads to Four Arrests

WATERLOO, Ind. (WOWO): The Waterloo Marshal's Department investigated a report of a meth lab over the weekend that led to the arrest of four people.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Sunday morning around 10:30 p.m., officers interviewed the people inside a home on S. Oak Street. 

Once the interviews were conducted, officers obtained a search warrant and found an active meth lab along with 12 inactive one pot reaction vessels, 9 HCL generators, and numerous items of paraphernalia, marijuana and synthetic marijuana 

Three children, ages 3, 5 and 8, were also removed from the residence.

37-year-old Brandon Barrington and 32-year-old Robert Strohminger were charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a Class A felony.

37-year-old Brent Dietrich was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and 27-year-old Faye Haywood was charged with visiting a common nuisance. 

All four were taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
