FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): In a board meeting Tuesday, Southwest Allen County Schools officials outlined new plans to expand its no-transportation zones to simplify bus routes at Deer Ridge Elementary, Woodside Middle, and Covington Elementary schools, that according to The Journal Gazette. The new school areas would raise the number of no-transportation zones in the district to seven, and save the school $200,000 per year.
