Much of State Under Travel Advisory

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As of 8:00 this morning, most of Indiana is snow covered with the heaviest accumulations in the northern part of the state, making driving difficult. Indiana State Police say travel in counties under a red travel advisory should only be for emergency purposes. Travel in these counties is extremely hazardous and should be avoided unless there is a LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY that requires the need to travel. To see the current travel status in your county, go to http://www.in.gov/dhs/traveladvisory/.
