FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Jeremy Washington, the man accused of causing a crash that killed a Bishop Dwenger student, is facing new charges. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the 35-year-old is now facing three counts of attempted murder.

He appeared in court Thursday and was also formally charged with:

* Operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious injury

* Reckless homicide

Washington was involved in a drunken fight at the Corner Pocket Pub early Saturday morning. The fight moved to the parking lot where shots rang out. Washington then sped away from the crime scene, ignored a red light and slammed his vehicle into a car driven by 17-year-old Haley Nellum. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Washington originally bonded out of jail, but was taken into custody again Thursday morning on the new charges.
