NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael has tested positive for COVID-19.

City officials say he learned of the positive test on Thursday and has been experiencing mild symptoms. McMichael has been working from home.

Also, officials say they have notified individuals he was in close contact with during the past 48 hours before McMichael experienced symptoms.
