FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A new independent sports commission has started in the city of Fort Wayne.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, Sport Wayne Inc. will work to improve the city's economy by hosting both international and local sporting events, and help residents find new athletic opportunities.

The President of the Fort Wayne Rugby Club and A Better Fort said Fort Wayne was one of the biggest cities without an established sports commission.
