KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A New York man died after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bike in Kosciusko County.

Dung Nguyen, 45, died Monday from blunt force trauma after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday, June 6, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

At about 10 p.m., a vehicle was traveling north on S.R. 19 near C.R. 600 S. when it crashed into Nguyen while he was riding a bike.

The car driver said he didn’t see the bike until he was about to hit it.

Nguyen had multiple injuries and was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash is still under investigation.
