FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Nine people, four adults and five kids, escaped a house fire Monday afternoon, unharmed.

Fort Wayne fire crews arrived to the house fire on High Street near Runnion Avenue just before 4:00 p.m., Monday. Once on the scene, fire crews found the fire to be located in the basement of the two-story house and were able to contain it to that area.

Meanwhile, no injuries were reported.
