Scammers impersonating NIPSCO employees made telephone calls to inform customers of a delinquent bill and then requested that an immediate payment be made to avoid service being shut off.
If customers are unsure about the legitimacy of any e-mail, phone call, program or offer claiming to be affiliated with NIPSCO, you should call NIPSCO’s 24-Hour Customer Service Center at 1-800-4NIPSCO (1-800-464-7726).
