No new charges for the Black Expo Shooter

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): No new charges will be brought against 20-year-old Shamus Patton after he and two others allegedly resisted arrest leading police on a 15-to-20 minute chase in Indianapolis last week.

However, the Marion County prosecutor says Patton, did nothing wrong other than be a passenger and he was cooperative with police.

Patton was on work-release and wasn’t due back to a correctional facility for about another hour. However, Patton could face sanctions from the department of corrections.

Patton was sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting into a crowd of people

during the Indiana Black Expo back in 2010.
