Not much snow in the forecast for Northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There has been some rumors going around that it might snow this weekend, but the National Weather Service said it won’t be much.

Meteorologist Mark Steinwedel said if any falls on Friday or Saturday it will be very light and will mix with some drizzles.

“The better chance for snow comes on Sunday,” Steinwedel said. “As a weak system is moving through and it could create some light accumulation at best. So probably less than an inch and it would be mainly on grassy surfaces.”

It looks like Northeast Indiana will have to wait a little longer for some winter weather.
