ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a crash near Homestead High School that left a driver critically injured Wednesday night.

Police and EMS rushed to Aboite Center Road, where they found an SUV crashed into a tree in a small wooded area.

Investigators say the SUV was heading west when it veered off the road for unknown reasons.

The driver was taken to a hospital, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
