Over 50-Thousand People From All 50 States And 33 Countries Went To Indianapolis Motor Speedway To View The Total Solar Eclipse

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WOWO) — Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb was there along with NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy and Mark and Rick Armstrong, the sons of the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong.

IMS was designated as one of several official sites for NASA TV’s eclipse coverage as well.

Many of the people who observed the eclipse at IMS called it a “breathtaking” and “spiritual” experience.
