Parkview Health Given National Award

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It's another national recognition for a local program.

Parkview Health Community Nursing has been recognized by Cribs for Kids with the Golden Safe Sleep Champion award, the highest designation from the National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Program. The award looks to highlight the best practices and education for safe infant sleeping.

Parkview Community Nursing achieved this designation through the development of hospital policy, staff training, parent education, wearable blanket program, and a pledge to participate in ongoing audits.
