Parties Take Statewide Battles Inside for 2014

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The 2014 election season will be much quieter, in part because much of the politicking is being dragged inside the party convention halls. Wayne Seybold jumped in the pool last week as the first announced candidate for any of the three statewide offices on the 2014 ballot. The former Olympic skater and Marion mayor is getting an early boost from in his run for treasurer from a powerful list of Republican supporters.
