Pastor: Husband devastated by wife, 2 kids’ deaths…

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) _ The family pastor for a woman found dead alongside her two children in a southern Indiana creek says the woman’s husband is “devastated” by their deaths.

Greater Faith Church pastor J. Todd Nichols says 47-year-old Michael Clutter told him he went to police after getting home from work about 5 p.m. Wednesday and found his wife and kids missing but their car and apartment keys inside the unit.

The bodies of 35-year-old Jamie Clutter; 10-year-old Brandon Clutter; and 6-month-old Katelyn Clutter were found in a New Albany creek about 15 minutes later.

Nichols tells The Courier-Journal of Louisville, Ky., Clutter and his family moved to New Albany from the Seattle area a few months ago.

Floyd County’s coroner is expected to release autopsy findings Friday on the bodies.
