GREENFIELD, Ind. (AP): The man in charge of keeping bad guys away from Indiana Governor Mike Pence also reaches out to those who strayed from the straight and narrow. Indiana State Police Lieutenant Steve Whitaker oversees Pence's 15-member security detail as executive protection commander. He also has led gospel outreach meetings at the Hancock County Jail since 2006.
