Plea Agreement Still Being Negotiated for Former Concord H.S. Assistant Coach

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Negotiations toward a plea agreement are still being considered for a former Concord High School assistant soccer coach accused of an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.

Barring a deal being reached, 28 year-old Emmy Gibson's trial is scheduled for the morning of Friday, March13th. She's charged with child seduction.

The investigation started when the teen's parents told the sheriff’s department that their child was involved in a sexual relationship with Gibson. Gibson was suspended and the school corporation later canceled Gibson’s coaching contract as a result of the investigation.

Gibson was the girls’ junior varsity soccer coach at Concord. She is a 2005 Concord High School graduate.
