FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person is dead after a crash early this morning on Vance and Coliseum Boulevard. It happened just after 1:30 a.m. when a driver lost control and hit a utility pole.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
Witnesses told police the victim was driving recklessly before the crash and police say speed may have been a factor.
The passenger of the vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The names of those involved have not yet been released, and the accident is still under investigation.
