FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating an incident that lasted well into the night. Just after 8:00 last night, police responded to Cass Street, near 5th Street, to investigate a domestic battery. The victim of the battery was at another house and said the incident happened at the suspect's house. Officers got to the house but couldn't make contact with the suspect. They got information that the suspect could be barricaded in his house. Around 12:21 A.M., more crews were called and made more attempts to make contact with the suspect but were unsuccessful. Crews got into the house just before 3:00 A.M., but the suspect wasn't there. The investigation is ongoing.
