Police Track Suspect in Grant County Chase

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police in Grant County chased after a Wabash man after he fled from a pedestrian-crash at a grocery store.

According to a press release, the suspect hit a pedestrian with his car at a grocery store parking lot in Marion.

The woman was flown to the hospital for her injuries.

A good Samaritan helped police by following the suspect into the Trails End area of Mississinewa Reservoir, located near the Wabash/ Grant county line.

The suspect's vehicle ran out of gas and police used a K-9 unit to track him down.
