FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Work is set to begin on the bridge over West Jefferson in downtown Fort Wayne.
In April, the Redevelopment Commission approved a plan to clean the overpass at Catalpa Street and Lindenwood. It includes painting, lighting and cleaning the railroad elevation. When finished, it will be decked out in an orange-red color.
The approved cost was $337,000, and traffic has been closed on Lindenwood while Michael Kinder & Sons work on the area. They say crews will not work during peak times Monday through Friday.
There will be a marked detour in the area.
