Record Crowd Sees Tincaps Fall To South Bend 2-1

Playing in front of the largest crowd to ever watch a baseball game in Fort Wayne, the fort Wayne Tincaps kicked off the 2nd half of the Midwest League season, falling to South Bend 2-1. 8,643 fans packed Parkview field only to see Silverhawks pitching hold the Caps to just 2 hits. Game two of the series will be tonight with broadcast time on The FAN 1380 at 6:45 for the 7:05 first pitch.
