FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An October surprise can be coming to the Ash Brokerage project. After over a year of wondering, the residential portion of the Ash Brokerage project may have a developer after all. 

Mayor Tom Henry has not revealed the name of the developer, but our partners in news at 21Alive say it's going to be Great Lakes Capital out of South Bend. 

Henry does say it's looking like the residential portion will contain 14 stories with retail space on the lower floors and housing above. 

Bill Bean pulled out of development in September of 2014, despite being promised $6 million in state tax credits.
