RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) _ A police chase has ended in a fatal accident north of Richmond.
 
  The Palladium-Item reports Richmond police officers were chasing a suspect after an attempted traffic stop when the fleeing driver crashed Monday afternoon at an intersection along Indiana 227 about five miles north of the city.
 
  Indiana 227 was closed temporarily in the area of the accident.
 
  Additional details were not immediately available. A message seeking comment was left with the Richmond Police Department.
