Ritz Reduces ISTEP Testing Time

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): In this morning's special meeting of the State Board of Education, Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz announced that the department has shortened the length of the 2015 spring ISTEP+ by over three hours for all  students in all grades. The time reduction will come from modifying the way that certain questions are piloted for the next testing year. This comes after Governor Mike Pence issued an executive order earlier this week to shorten the test.
