Salvation Army to Benefit from Kroger Corporate Bell Ringing Challenge

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Kroger stores across the Indiana will be helping The Salvation Army fill its Red Kettles with the Kroger Corporate Bell Ringing Challenge. Kroger managers and executives will ring bells in front of Kroger stores today, Friday December 20th, any time between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The event is part of Kroger's effort to raise $1 million in front of their 134 stores in Indiana and parts of Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio.

As of Wednesday, December 18th, The Salvation Army has raised 56% or $149,593.00 of its 2013 kettle goal of $265,000.
