GOSHEN, Ind. (AP) – A second man has pleaded guilty to murder charges in the shooting deaths of a northern Indiana convenience store's owner and an employee.

Twenty-nine-year-old Kevin Moore of Elkhart pleaded guilty mentally ill on two counts of murder during a court hearing Thursday. He admitted taking part in a Sept. 5 robbery at Saleh's Market near downtown Elkhart, where 55-year-old Jagtar Bhatti and 20-year-old Pawan Singh were fatally shot.

The Elkhart Truth reports the judge said Moore was competent to stand trial, but that he had impaired abilities when the shooting happened. Moore said he has post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

The Goshen News reports Moore testified he knew right from wrong when the robbery happened.

Twenty-two-year-old Richard Gross pleaded guilty in December to murder charges in the attack.
