Secretary of State to Host Lemonade Day Registration

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson has announced that she'll help kick off this year's Lemonade Day by helping Hoosier kids perfect their business pitches.

Lemonade Day is a free, entrepreneurial experience that teaches kids how to start, own and operate their own business. Thousands of  Indiana children are expected to start their own lemonade businesses this year on May 16.

Registration will officially open Sunday, but Secretary Lawson has invited some children to her office Friday to kick off the process.

Lawson will review their business applications, present them with certificates, and join them in a celebratory lemonade toast.

Those interested in participating can register online at www.indianapolis.lemonadeday.org.
