INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The U.S. and Indiana Chambers of Commerce have made their pick in Indiana’s U.S. Senate race, endorsing Republican Congressman Todd Young.

The Chamber endorsements reinforce an image of the race as establishment versus Tea Party.

Young’s opponent, Congressman Marlin Stutzman, has the backing of the Tea Party-aligned FreedomWorks, as well as the hardline conservative Club for Growth. Young says he’s not concerned about labels.

The U.S. Chamber’s Rob Engstrom pointedly describes Young as a conservative with “the courage to govern.” The Chamber is already running TV ads and plans to run more.
