Sewing Needle Found in a Halloween Candy Bar

MOORESVILLE, Ind. (AP) – Authorities are warning parents to examine their children’s Halloween treats after two possible tampering incidents in central Indiana. The Indianapolis Star reports the Mooresville School District posted a statement on its Facebook page yesterday warning parents to look for suspicious items. The school district took the action after the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department reported a sewing needle was found in a candy bar before it was eaten.
