Shots Fired at School Bus

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Shots were fired at a local school bus. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, someone shot out the window of a bus from South Wayne Elementary School, on Cottage Avenue, between 4:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m., Thursday afternoon.

 

The bus was waiting to pick up students, but none were inside. Krista Stockman, spokesperson for Fort Wayne Community Schools, said the bus was not the target of the shooting.

 

South Wayne principal Brenda West sent a letter home with students on Wednesday to notify parents.
