Snider Hosting First FWCS Referendum Public Meeting Tonight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The first of a series of planned public meetings for Fort Wayne Community School's proposed referendum will take place at Snider High School Monday evening. 

District leaders are looking for support for its $130 million referendum to use towards the district's second phase of improvements to its 42 buildings. The district tax rate would not go up if the referendum is approved next year. 

Building tours begin at 5 p.m. with the presentation at 6 p.m. There will be meetings Tuesday at Weisser Park and Northrop and then again on Wednesday at Harrison Hill.
