South Bend Mail Center Closing Expected Next Year

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP): The Postal Service processing center in South Bend is now expected to close sometime next year. The South Bend center had been set to close this past February, with its work being shifted to a Fort Wayne processing center. Postal Service spokeswoman Mary Dando says the agency hasn't yet released a schedule for the consolidation, but that it is set to happen sometime in 2015.
