State Budget Committee Meets at IPFW

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The State Budget Committee will meet tomorrow at IPFW. The meeting is largely routine budget matters. Up for review are projects at prisons and INDOT maintenance facilities. They'll also look at $10 million in government properties owned by the Indiana Finance Authority.

The committee of state representatives and senators will also consider more than $1 million dollars in work at state parks, including Chain of Lakes locally. Another $1.1 million dollar project would rehab the historic state capitol building in Corydon in time for the bicentennial in 2016.

Also on the agenda is a discussion on how IPFW is governed.

The panel meets today at IPFW's Walb Union International Ballroom.
