FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry released the following  statement in regards to the bus accident which occurred Thursday morning on southbound I-65 near mile-marker 22. Multiple injuries have been reported from the scene and Indiana Teach officials have confirmed that the bus was carrying 16 members of the men’s and women’s bowling teams and coaching staff:

My thoughts and prayers are with the Indiana Tech community following today’s bus crash involving Indiana Tech’s men’s and women’s bowling teams in southern Indiana. This is a difficult day for our community. I encourage all residents to take a few moments to think about those affected by today’s events.
