Storms Bring Lightning, Hail to Northern Indiana

ANGOLA, Ind. (AP): A line of thunderstorms moving across northern Indiana caused some hail damage and scattered power outages.

The National Weather Service says hail damage to buildings and vehicles was reported early Wednesday in northeastern Indiana's Steuben County.

Utility companies reported a few hundred homes and businesses without electricity in the state's northern counties, with the largest concentration in Elkhart County.

Frequent lightning accompanied the storms but no severe storm warnings were issued early Wednesday.
