Motorcycle rear-ends car in Kosciusko County Sunday, one in critical condition

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – One man is in critical condition after his motorcycle rear-ended another vehicle Sunday in Kosciusko County.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel were called to State Road 25 at 200 South around 3:50 p.m. on reports of a motorcycle crash.

An investigation revealed a 2013 Dodge Dart was traveling northbound when it slowed in a traffic to allow another vehicle to turn. A 1996 Honda motorcycle then struck the rear of the car.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained extensive head injuries and was flown by helicopter to Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne. He’s currently listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Dodge Dart was uninjured, and the crash is still under investigation.
