NASHVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ The man identified by authorities as the sole suspect in the shooting deaths of four people at a southern Indiana home has pleaded guilty in a separate battery case.
 
  A Brown County judge accepted the guilty plea from 55-year-old Samuel Sallee to the misdemeanor charges and sentenced him on Monday to six months in jail.
 
  Sallee has been jailed since soon after the May 11 shootings in the Bartholomew County community of Waynesville in which a woman and three men were killed. Sallee hasn't been charged in the shootings and he has maintained his innocence. The Republic reports that with credit for jail time served, he could be released Sunday.
 
  Sallee also has been indicted on federal weapons charges and could be taken into custody by federal officials.
