Syracuse Business Doubling in Size

SYRACUSE, Ind. (WOWO): A Syracuse business has plans to double in size.

The Syracuse Town Council has approved a final tax abatement to double the size of the company from 230 to 480 employees by building a 300,000 sq. ft. state-of-the art manufacturing building.

Poly-Wood will invest $23.275 million to construct and equip the new manufacturing and warehousing facility.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Poly-Wood, Inc. up to $1.8 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.
