Today Show Weatherman Al Roker Visiting Goshen Tuesday

GOSHEN, Ind. (WOWO): A famous TV personality will be passing through Goshen on Tuesday…

The Maple City will be “pallin' with Al” Tuesday as Al Roker from The Today Show embarks on “Rokerthon 2”. The famous weatherman is bringing his attempt at yet another weather-related world record through Goshen.

The Rokerthon is his effort to create the longest uninterrupted live TV weather report. Last time, he managed to deliver the weather for 34 straight hours in a marathon that traveled across the country and raised 82 thousand dollars for The United Services Organization. This time he'll be doing it to raise funds for Feeding America, and his goal is to report the weather live from each of the 50 states in one week.

The project begins Friday morning in Honolulu and will and on Friday the 13th in New York City.

Goshen Chamber of Commerce President David Daughtery hopes he brings good weather with him and says it's an honor that Goshen was his choice for the Hoosier State.
