News Release from the Indiana D.H.S.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is reminding Hoosiers to be aware of the weather today as there is a possibility for severe weather and tornadoes.

The National Storm Prediction Center says there is a moderate chance for severe weather in most of Indiana today through this evening.  The National Weather Service says these storms may bring widespread damaging winds, large hail, dangerous lightning, tornadoes, and torrential rainfall producing flash flooding.

Hoosiers should remain aware of changing weather conditions, and to be ready to take action at home or work if the need arises. Assess the need to travel while severe weather is in the area, and be aware of any issues that might occur as kids are coming home from school.
