DEKALB, Ind. (WOWO): Two men reportedly trying to beat the train ended up injured after the train hit their car. 

It happened on County Road 47 as the crossing arms were ascending. The train hit their car on the right front corner, which caused it to spin as the train pushed it about 50 feet.

21 year old David Albert reportedly had leg pain following the accident while 20 year old Blake Mann was taken to a nearby hospital with minor lacerations.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department told our partners in news at 21Alive that alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the crash.
