INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Gov. Eric Holcomb appointed Andrea R. Trevino to the Allen County Superior Court, Family Relations Division Thursday.

Trevino succeeds Judge Daniel Heath, who retired last month.

Judge Trevino has served as the magistrate judge in Allen County Superior Circuit Court since her appointment in 2013. She was in private practice before that.

Judge Trevino will handle juvenile and family-related cases and will oversee the Allen County Juvenile Center in her new role.

She will be sworn in on Tuesday, March 20.
