PENNVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): A community is in shock after a Jay County teen was killed in an apparent drunk driving crash – inside his own home.

Around 10 p.m. Friday in the town of Pennville, authorities say a truck driven by Bryce Paxon of Pennville lost control and slammed into the home as 16-year-old Seth Corwin.

He was watching TV in the living room. The impact killed the teen instantly, according to investigators.

The 47-year-old Paxon is charged with operating while intoxicated, causing death. Police say he had a blood-alcohol of more than twice the legal limit.
